We want children to feel proud that they are part of the Kinderley Primary School community by wearing their uniform. The school uniform consists of:
Dark green sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan (available to purchase with school logo if required)
Yellow or white polo shirt or white shirt/blouse.
Grey/black trousers, shorts, skirts or pinafore dresses.
Green gingham dress in summer.
Grey/black/white socks or tights.
Black shoes/closed sandals
Our uniform suppliers are a local firm Design and Embroidery. Orders can be made on their website www.designandembroidery.co.uk and items are delivered to school for collection.
Green book bags are available for purchase and can be used as an alternative to a ruck sack. Children do not need a book bag and a ruck sack.
Plain, unbranded uniform items can also be purchased from supermarkets/department stores if you wish as long as these are in our school colours.
We have second hand uniform for sale which is on display in the school reception area.
Please ensure that all items of removeable clothing are clearly named.
PE Kit
Plain yellow or white polo shirt/T shirt
Plain dark jogging bottoms/shorts and tracksuit top
Black plimsolls or trainers
Currently children wear PE kit to school on PE days, but this may change if the correct uniform is not worn.
Jewellery
One set of studs can be worn but will need to be removed for PE sessions (including swimming). PE is a statutory requirement of the primary national curriculum.
Children are able to wear watches (without SMART capabilities). All other items such as necklaces or bracelets should be removed before school.
