Charity Details
The Brigstock & Wrens Charity was formed by the consolidation of the charities of Robert Brigstock and Matthew Wren on the 27th May 1910. It is registered with the Charity Commission as charity No.233213.
Objectives
The objectives of the charity are to administer funds and manage land for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Tydd St Giles. The Parish of Tydd St Giles covers the villages of Tydd St Giles, Four Gotes, Foul Anchor and Tydd Fen.
The trustees are able to make grants:-
To individuals who are in need – by paying for items, services or facilities.
By supporting with educational costs – educational grants support mature students re-training for a new career, students completing a degree at university and those students on an apprenticeship or attending a more local college or sixth form centre.
To charitable organisations which benefit the inhabitants of the parish.
